Step-by-Step Blueprint Instructions

  1. Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 10 dc into ring. Sl st to join (10 dc).
  2. Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around (20 dc).
  3. Round 3: Ch 2, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st; rep around (30 dc).
  4. Continue increases until flat crown diameter reaches 16.5 cm.
  5. Work even rounds with no increases until hat measures 20 cm from center crown.
  6. Work 4 rounds of front-post/back-post ribbing for snug brim fit.

Finishing & Blocking
