Cookie Policy

Two different technologies get lumped together as "cookies":

• Cookies are small files sent between your browser and a server with each request. They can be read by the server.
• Local storage is a store inside your browser only. It is never automatically sent anywhere.

This distinction matters, because almost everything this site stores is local storage, not cookies. It stays on your device and we never see it.

With no choices made and nothing enabled, Nexsus Space stores one thing:

That is the entire default footprint. We set no first-party tracking cookies, and we do not assign you an identifier.

Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser. The numbers you type, such as gauge, dimensions, prices and hourly rates, are used to render the result on your screen and are not transmitted to our servers or stored.

The only exception is the AI assistants, which have to send your question to a server to answer it. Those are clearly marked, only run when you press the button, and are covered in the privacy policy and AI content policy.

Strictly necessary

Always on, and cannot be switched off. This covers your consent choice itself, and any interface preference you set. Without it the site cannot remember that you have already answered the cookie question.

Analytics

Would let us measure which pages and calculators get used so we know what to improve.

No analytics tool is installed at the moment. The category exists so that if we add one, it is off until you allow it. Turning it on today changes nothing.

Advertising

Allows advertising to load from Google AdSense. This is how the calculators stay free.

If you allow it, Google and its partners may set cookies in your browser to measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, and, where permitted, show more relevant ads. We do not control those cookies and cannot read them.

With this category off, no advertising script is requested at all. Nothing is loaded from Google and then blocked; the request is simply never made.

Personalisation

Would let us remember things like your recently used calculators between visits. Nothing uses this yet.

When advertising is enabled and you have allowed it:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors at aboutads.info.
• Google explains its own practices in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

The exact cookies set depend on Google's systems and change over time, so we do not publish a fixed list we cannot keep accurate.

This site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string, in order to deliver the page and protect against attacks and abuse.

This happens for every website request and is not something a cookie choice can switch off, because without it the page cannot be delivered to you at all. We do not combine this data with anything else or use it to build a profile.

Our pages also load a small measurement script from static.cloudflareinsights.com, which counts page views and measures how quickly pages load. It is added by Cloudflare at the network level rather than by our own code.

We want to be straightforward about two things. First, this script sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not follow you between sites or build a profile of you. Second, because Cloudflare inserts it before our own code runs, it is not controlled by the cookie choices on this site — turning off the analytics category does not stop it.

If you would rather it did not load at all, any standard tracker-blocking browser extension blocks it, and nothing on this site depends on it: every calculator, guide and AI tool works normally when it is blocked.

You can change your mind at any time:

3. 3.Select Save my choices.

Your choice takes effect immediately. Turning advertising off stops any further advertising scripts from loading on subsequent page views.

You can also clear site data in your browser settings, which removes the stored choice entirely. You will then be asked again on your next visit.

Google requires publishers showing personalised ads to visitors in these regions to use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform that works with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

We want to be straightforward about this: the preference control on this site is our own first-party tool, and it is not itself a Google-certified CMP. Before personalised advertising is enabled for those regions, a certified consent mechanism will be connected and will take over that decision.
