• Calculators run entirely in your browser. Gauge, dimensions, prices and hourly rates are never sent to us.
• We do not use analytics. No visitor measurement tool is installed today.
• We do not store AI conversations. What you type into an AI assistant is used to produce your answer, and then it is gone.
• Advertising only loads if you allow it. Reject it, and no advertising script is requested at all.
• There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, address or phone number.

Nexsus Space operates this website and decides how the limited data described here is handled.

We publish a contact route rather than a postal address because this is a small independent website and not a registered company with business premises. If you need details for a formal legal process, ask through the contact page and we will respond.

Nothing leaves your device.

Every calculator on this site is written to run in your browser. When you enter a gauge, a blanket size, an hourly rate or a yarn price, that value is used to work out the result on screen. It is not transmitted to our servers, not written to a database, and not retained after you close the tab.

This is a deliberate design decision, not an accident: a crochet calculator has no reason to know anything about you.

That is the full default list. We set no tracking cookies and assign you no identifier. The cookie policy explains each category in detail, including the difference between cookies and local storage.

This website is delivered through Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to serve a page and to protect the site from attacks and abuse, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string.

We use this only to keep the site running and secure. It is not combined with anything else, not used to build a profile of you, and not sold or shared for marketing.

Because this processing is how a page physically reaches you, it is not something a cookie setting can switch off.

Five tools on this site offer optional AI help. Nothing is sent to an AI model unless you fill in a form and press the button.

When you do:

• The text you enter is sent to our server and on to Cloudflare Workers AI, which generates the answer. The AI runs within Cloudflare's network through a server-side binding.
• We do not store your conversation. The request is used to produce your answer and is not written to a database or kept afterwards.
• Requests are rate limited per visitor to prevent abuse. That check uses your IP address in memory, briefly, and is not retained.
• Please do not enter personal, private, confidential or sensitive information. This is general crochet help.

AI answers can be wrong, and each one carries a notice saying so. Our AI content policy explains exactly where AI is and is not used, including why calculator results never come from AI.

No advertising is running on this site at the moment. No ad network is configured and no advertising script loads.

When advertising is enabled it will be Google AdSense, and it will only load after you allow the advertising category in the cookie banner. At that point:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors at aboutads.info.
• Google describes its own handling in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We do not have access to, and cannot read, cookies set by Google or its advertising partners.

We do not currently use any analytics or visitor measurement tool. There is no Google Analytics, and no alternative in its place.

The cookie banner includes an analytics category so that if we ever add one, it stays off until you turn it on. Today, switching it on changes nothing.

If you write to us, we receive what you choose to send: your message, and a reply address if you provide one.

We use it to answer you, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one, and we do not pass your message to anyone else.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent.

In practice there is usually very little to act on, because this site holds almost nothing: no account, no profile, no stored calculator inputs and no stored AI conversations.

You can exercise the most common controls yourself:

• Change or withdraw consent at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
• Delete everything stored locally by clearing site data in your browser.

For anything else, write to us through the contact page.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

This website is served from Cloudflare's global network, and AI requests are handled within that network. That means data may be processed on servers outside your own country, including outside the EEA and the UK.

The practical effect is limited, because the data involved is the technical request information described above plus any AI question you choose to send.

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because there are no accounts and we do not collect personal details from anyone, there is normally nothing to collect. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, tell us and we will delete it.

If this site starts using something new, such as analytics or advertising, this page will be updated before that happens, and the "last updated" date above will change.

We will not quietly start collecting more and update the policy afterwards.
