About Nexsus Space
Building free, fast, high-precision tools, calculators, and educational resources for crocheters around the world.
Nexsus Space was founded with a straightforward mission: to eliminate the frustrating math guesswork from crochet. Too many crafters experience the heartbreak of “yarn chicken” (running out with two rows left), sizing garments incorrectly due to tension variance, or vastly underpricing their handmade artisan work.
What Makes Our Tools Different
Instant Client-Side Math
Our calculators perform their calculations locally in your web browser. No accounts, no waiting, and no clunky page refreshes.
Clear Mathematical Transparency
We explain every formula, gauge multiplier, and conversion ratio directly on the page so you understand the mechanics behind the numbers.
Practical AI Assistance
Our AI features are explicitly tailored for crochet tension analysis, yarn substitution safety, and structured project planning.
Free for Makers Everywhere
Every calculator is 100% free to use for both personal hobby projects and commercial handmade business planning.
Our Craft Standards & Independence
We do not sell proprietary yarn or endorse specific commercial fiber brands. Our standards are grounded in the Craft Yarn Council (CYC) international yarn weight definitions, standard metric millimeter hook standards, and empirical stitch density ratios.
